Does RCI Pay its scholars?

RCI doesn't provide any financial assistance to institutions for paying a stipend to scholars. However many Institutions provide a stipend to the students because they are not just researchers but also junior residents who work while studying. These institutions provide financial assistance because the students work in different clinics and provide therapies to the patients and perform different psychometric tests. Mostly Medical colleges provide such stipends as they get financial assistance for the same from the Government of India or state governments.
